ANNAPOLIS, September 23 — STS Travel, the Annapolis-based company that has spent more than three decades arranging college Spring Break trips, has named the destinations it will sell for Spring Break 2027. Cancun, Mexico; Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; and Nassau, Bahamas make up the lineup, announced in a company press release dated Sept. 22. The story begins, as it does every year, with a calendar problem.
Spring Break travel dates fill fast, and STS Travel says booking early gives larger groups a wider selection of resorts and room types before popular properties sell out for peak season. The company specialises in trips for fraternities, sororities and college groups, and notes that special pricing, payment plans, discounts and other incentives may be available depending on destination, resort, dates and group size.
What the Cancun package includes
At the heart of the Cancun offering is Grand Oasis Cancun, which STS Travel calls the destination’s best-known Spring Break resort. It is a large beachfront property that draws college students from across the United States each March, with an expansive pool, entertainment and a Spring Break atmosphere. The company’s Cancun Spring Break Party Package adds events at clubs including Mandala, HOF, D’Cave, Mandala Beach and Coco Bongo, plus a four-hour Cancun Party Cruise with an open bar, snacks and music.
STS Travel points out that Cancun’s Hotel Zone concentrates resorts, restaurants, beaches, shopping and nightlife within a single tourism district — a compact geography that keeps the party and the pillow close together.
The wider 2027 lineup
Nassau packages feature the Spring Break Beach Bash at Breezes Bahamas, a 375-room all-inclusive resort on Cable Beach next to the Baha Mar complex. It provides accommodations, meals, drinks and resort activities, with scheduled entertainment, contests, beach activities and live DJ performances during Spring Break. The Nassau Spring Break VIP Party Schedule adds open-bar events at venues including Aura, Bond and Senor Frogs, with special performances by DJ Evan Wilder and other guest DJs.
Punta Cana packages are offered at resorts including Riu Republica, Barcelo Bavaro Palace and Occidental Caribe, all featuring swimming pools, beaches, restaurants, bars, entertainment and activities suited to college Spring Break groups. Nightlife there includes scheduled Spring Break events and VIP access to venues including Imagine and Coco Bongo Punta Cana, plus a Spring Break Party Cruise with music, DJs, snacks and open-bar service.
Cabo Spring Break combines Pacific Coast scenery, beaches, all-inclusive resorts, pool parties and downtown Cabo San Lucas nightlife. The most popular Cabo resort, according to STS Travel, is Riu Santa Fe, a large beachfront all-inclusive property overlooking the Sea of Cortez with more than 1,400 rooms, multiple swimming pools, swim-up bars, a water park and RIU’s themed pool parties. Downtown venues include El Squid Roe, Mandala and La Vaquita, and students can join the Cabo Spring Break Party Cruise with unlimited drinks, DJs and views of Cabo’s famous arch.
