Full details: KL Art Book Fair 2026 event guide
The KL Art Book Fair returns for its sixth edition at the KL and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 November 2026.
What to expect
Billed as Malaysia’s leading fair for art books, zines and independent publishing, it brings together more than 150 exhibitors from Malaysia and 23 countries. Alongside the stalls there are talks, book launches, printmaking workshops and exhibitions. It’s open 12pm to 9pm on Friday and 12pm to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets and how to attend
Tickets are sold through CloudJoi at RM20 to RM30 before fees. Buy only from the official seller, since resale and unofficial tickets may be refused at the gate.
Getting there
The hall is on Jalan Maharajalela, near Chinatown. By Monorail, walk about 10 minutes to Raja Chulan station and ride four stops south to Maharajalela, then it’s a short walk. A Grab from central Kuala Lumpur takes about 10 minutes, and Petaling Street and the Merdeka 118 tower are close by, so you can combine the visit with lunch.
Where to stay
For better value, Cormar Suites Kuala Lumpur is a newly renovated 4-star hotel in central Kuala Lumpur, about 15 minutes’ walk from the Petronas Twin Towers. Its studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites are larger than a standard hotel room, each with a full kitchenette, a work desk, fast WiFi and a bathtub, and it usually costs far less than the big-brand hotels.
How to get there from the city centre, what is nearby and the full event details are on the KL Art Book Fair 2026 guide. Event dates fill hotels fast: book direct with Cormar Suites for the best available rate, and confirm times and entry rules with the organiser before you go.
