MIMEX, the Malaysia International Marine Expo, is an international maritime and offshore trade expo at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 November 2026.
What to expect
Organised by NRG Exhibitions, it covers shipbuilding, repair, shipping, marine and offshore engineering, dredging, ports and logistics. The previous edition was held in 2024, and visitor badges are non-transferable, so it’s geared to trade and business visitors.

Admission is free with online pre-registration, and it’s open to trade and business visitors only. Register through the official registration.
Getting there
The convention centre is beside the Petronas Twin Towers and Suria KLCC. From central Kuala Lumpur it’s about a 15-minute walk through KLCC Park, or a 5 to 10-minute Grab.
Where to stay
For a splurge, Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur sits at or right beside the venue. For better value, Cormar Suites Kuala Lumpur is a newly renovated 4-star hotel in central Kuala Lumpur, about 15 minutes’ walk from the Petronas Twin Towers. Its studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites are larger than a standard hotel room, each with a full kitchenette, a work desk, fast WiFi and a bathtub, and it usually costs far less than the big-brand hotels.
